BDA's senior advisers have extensive experience in strategy development through to raising finance for growing companies including a strong track record in securing grant support based on realistic business plans.

Where companies believe that they are failing to maximise profits or results are deteriorating and there is difficulty in establishing the cause, BDA can review the operations of the business and provide management with an action plan aimed at improving performance.

The private sector work we do includes work for Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh & Lothian with growth companies.  We also carry out consultancy work for Albert Bartlett & Sons (Airdrie) Ltd., based in Airdrie and Coatbridge.  This group employs 1,500 people and is the UK’s largest root crop grower.

In the past we have been used as a consultant to Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire's award winning entrepreneurship programme for high growth companies and have managed a European project in micro enterprise development. Our directors have been appointed as non-executive chairs and directors of a number of growth businesses, helping them to develop to their full potential.
