Skills Development Scotland - SDS - is the government body that works with learning and Skills organisations to strengthen Scotland’s sustainable economic development.
BDA delivers the 'Employability Fund for Self-Employment' option helping people to move from unemployment into self-employment. Through the Employability Fund, and its predecessor Training for Work, BDA has been assisting SDS clients since 2003.
Employability Fund clients meet with one of our advisers and are given help, advice and the opportunity to attend our free workshops, whilst still receiving benefits.

Digital Boost is a Scottish Government programme that helps business owners in Scotland learn how their business could benefit from digital upskilling, Digital Boost is delivered via Business Gateway in each local area.
Digital Boost includes training, guides, tutorials, workshops, one-to-one advice and consultancy. BDA's experienced technology advisers have been delivering Digital Boost services to start-up and growing businesses in the West of Scotland.

Since 1999 BDA has delivered a diverse mix of contracts and projects for public sector clients. These have ranged from self-employment support for unemployed people through the DWP New Deal programme, to helping creative start-up businesses in Renfrewshire Council's InCube hub in Paisley.
