About BDA

Business Development Advisers Ltd - BDA - was formed in 1999 to provide effective, meaningful advice, training and support to anyone starting or running a business of any scale.

Since then we have delivered many business support services on behalf of the economic development agencies and partners across Scotland.  These have included Scottish Enterprise, Skills Development Scotland, the Department of Work and Pensions, the Scottish Government and many of the local authorities.

As the economic development landscape has evolved over the past 20 years, BDA has continued to innovate and adapt to the changing needs of both our public sector customers and the clients who benefit from our support.

From helping young and unemployed people to start their first business through to assisting established businesses to grow and increase their exports, BDA's experienced advisers provide a unique business support service.

We have assisted business owners to apply and obtain funding from a variety of sources incluing the Prince's Trust (formerly PSYBT), local government, Scottish Enterprise, Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) as well as bank and other funders.

All of our advisers are experienced, successful business owners who are currently involved in their own business ventures.  This ensures they can provide other busiess owners with relevent, practical and meaningful advice.
