BDA has been helping people to start new businesses and assisting existing businesses to grow through Business Gateway contracts since 1999.

 

Currently BDA is providing a mix of start-up advice and business growth assistance in various Business Gateway areas including Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire etc.  We also provide both local and national training events for Business Gateway.

 

BDA's specialist Growth Advisers have deep personal experience dealing with a wide range of business challenges.  Through Business Gateway's 'Growth Advisory Service' and 'Expert Help' programme, they provide valuable help and advice to assist business owners and leaders to overcome barriers to growth.  Typical projects have included assistance with funding applications to banks, RSA and other funders; help to expand into new and challenging export markets; innovation support and protection of intellectual assets.  Our specialists are selected based on their experience, knowledge and market experience to ensure the best fit for the clients' needs.

 

All of our Start-Up Advisers have personal experience of starting and growing a new business.  By really understanding the challenges faced by start-up clients they are able to provide practical, meaningful advice on a wide range of start-up issues.

 

BDA is a contracted provider of Business Gateway National training webinars.

 

In addition, BDA provides a wide range of local training events for some Business Gateway areas.  These cover a selection of topics such as Business Planning, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Exporting, Tax, Bookkeeping, Crowdfunding etc.

Additional projects are undertaken for Business Gateway via the various local authoities to provide support to both new and existing businesses.
